Break-In at Horndean Parish Council – 13th September 2026
We are saddened to report that Horndean Parish Council was the subject of a break-in during the early hours of Sunday morning.
The side door to the building was forced open, with the glass door pane smashed, and the compound was unlawfully entered.
The perpetrator was captured on several CCTV cameras between approximately 12:30am and 2:50am. A number of items were stolen from both the compound and the Parish Council Office.
The incident has been reported to the police, and all available CCTV footage has been provided to assist with their investigation. Officers have also attended the site to carry out forensic examinations.
If you have any information that may assist the police, or if you have CCTV, Ring doorbell or other security footage from the surrounding area covering this period, we urge you to contact the police and pass on any relevant information.
